RRaffle follows NIST's public-auditability approach: commit before the drawing, use a precisely defined deterministic selection process, then reveal enough evidence for an independent reviewer to reproduce the result.
Commit before the first pull
The ticket pool and secret seed commitment are fixed before activation, making later changes detectable.
Select without modulo bias
HMAC-SHA256 and rejection sampling give every remaining ticket an equal-size accepted range.
Retain the complete evidence
Excel and CSV exports include the locked pool, exact elimination order, prize winners, selection proofs, and a hash-chained event log.
Scope note: RRaffle is not NIST certified, validated, or approved. Algorithm version 1.0 follows NIST's commit-then-randomness pattern but does not currently consume the NIST Randomness Beacon.
